The Lexar RW540 microSDXC™ (micro Secure Digital eXtended Capacity) Express Card Reader is the solution for users who want the highest performance from microSD Express cards. Thanks to its USB 3.2 Gen 2 (Universal Serial Bus 3.2 Generation 2, the second generation of the high-speed data transfer standard) interface and support for microSD Express cards, the device can read data at speeds of up to 900 MB/s, speeding up material transfer by up to four times compared to standard readers. Such speed will prove useful for, among other things, transferring high-definition video files or large graphics projects.

Resilience, cooling and full compatibility

The built-in fan allows efficient heat dissipation and lowers the device's temperature by up to 19°C, allowing it to maintain maximum performance during prolonged operation. A housing made of PC (Polycarbonate, a polycarbonate material), ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene, a high-resistance plastic) and silicone increases resistance to mechanical damage, and the included USB-C (Universal Serial Bus Type C, a universal connector for data and power) cable with USB-A (Universal Serial Bus Type A, a classic USB connector) adapter ensures compatibility with a wide range of devices.

The Lexar RW540 reader supports Windows 8/10/11 and macOS 15.1 and 14.7.2, offering plug-and-play functionality with no driver installation required. The compact form factor and low weight (67.6g) make it easy to transport and use anywhere. The device works with UHS-I (Ultra High Speed I, the first generation of the ultra-high speed data transfer standard) and UHS-II (Ultra High Speed II, the second generation of the ultra-high speed data transfer standard) microSD cards at speeds of up to 104 MB/s, reducing the need for multiple readers.
